Thank you, gentlemen! I've been hoping SOMEONE could explain to me how this whole mess happened, in terms anyone could actually understand! :)
OK here goes.
Take a bunch of folks who were slacking at uni, and only got there in the first place because of reputable relatives.
Kick them, and their wannabe-student enthousiasm, into the real world. Have them find a job with banks and other financial organisations, kudos to their out-of-the-box thinking and high grades in management.
Have them shove and reject responsibility forth and back, up and down, while they make a small fortune. Come on, you can do the math, they don't!
This comic is wonderfully like Rube Goldberg's commentary on economics and government strips. Well done!
