When I first started Inside Lightroom, my plan was to have a staff of knowledgeable, responsible writers who would publish on assigned days. This would provide us with the steady flow of content that ultimately we so liked so much about this site.

Our team of writers did just that, and I'm grateful to every one of them for the work they've done. But a few things changed behind the scenes, and the most important was our losing the sponsor for the site. Those sponsorship dollars are what paid for the writers and maintenance for Inside Lightroom.

In the aftermath of that loss, I talked to my General Manager, and he gave me permission to keep the site running as long as I didn't pile up editorial expenses. This is a generous offer. That means that I have resources for site serving, maintenance, and an allocation of time from a web producer. Not bad at all.

All I need now are writers. I have a good one already: Mikkel Aaland, the author of the Photoshop Lightroom 2 Adventure. Mikkel is terrific, and I'm thrilled to have him on the site. But I need a half dozen more bloggers, and that's why I'm writing to you right now.
