Lightroom Used in New Canon Ad
Canon's new Rebel XSi ad is making its way around the Internet and probably out onto the TV airwaves as well. It's a really nicely crafted ad and one that will hopefully inspire budding photographers everywhere to pick up a camera. Along with the ad, Canon has posted a behind the scenes video, describing how the ad was made with a fleet of Canon 1D mark III cameras.
According to one quote during the video, the production netted something like 60,000 images from their shoots. Unsaid but clearly visible, the creative team used Lightroom to go through all those images to pull out the ones used in the final video. I can't imagine not using a tool like Lightroom or Aperture to do the work, but it's really cool to see a glimpse of how they are used in a production like this.
