Lightroom 1.4 Rollback
Lightroom 1.4 and Adobe Camera Raw 4.4 were released last week. However, it has come to Adobe's attention that things aren't all happy with these updates and that if you've installed it, you should rollback to previous versions.
If you're interested, there's a Lightroom Journal post that has the full details on what's wrong with the updates. However, if you want to just cut to the chase and rollback to Lightroom 1.3, you'll need to uninstall Lightroom 1.4 first. Here's how to do it:
- Mac users should delete the Lightroom application in the Application's folder and then delete the
/Library/Receipts/Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.pkgfile. - Windows users can use the Uninstall Lightrom 1.4 menu item via the Start menu or dive into the Add/Remove Program utility.
Hopefully, Adobe will have a fix soon. You'll want to stay tuned to the the Lightroom Journal site for news direct from the Lightroom team.
