Paint the Walls of Lightroom
Adobe’s given Lightroom users a few options to customize the application’s interface to their liking: the abilitity to create an “identity plate” immediately comes to mind. There’s at least one more purely visual preference: the “end marks” that appear at the bottom of Lightroom’s panels. To get an idea of what I’m talking about, simply scroll to the bottom of either (left or right) of the panels in any of the modules and you’ll see an icon at the bottom (or the end, if you prefer). Your preferred image can be set through the Interface tab of the Preferences dialog, or by right–clicking on the element itself. Lightroom itself ships with a few images that you can select from, and any images added to the Panel End Marks folder in Lightroom’s application support will appear in the list of available choices.
While this feature is hardly functional, it’s a nice little touch for those who like to make their working environment feel a little more like home.

Shouldn't it be a nice CCD, instead of an old filmroll ?
Depends how you look at it, I guess; I like to think of it as an homage to the art's history :)
