Trackpad Tip for Contextual Menu on Newer Mac Laptops
A few weeks ago, Mikkel talked about all the handy contextual (right-click) menus in Lightroom. Yesterday, when we met to do final finishing touches for the book, I showed him how the new MacBook and MacBook Pros have a trackpad setting that allows you to evoke contextual menus easily. You can set up the trackpad on these computers to "right-click" when you put two fingers on the trackpad and click. You'll need to set this up by going to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Trackpad. Then click the aptly named box, "Place two fingers on trackpad and click button for secondary click." Voila, all those handy Lightroom menus are now just a click away on your laptop.

This has been a feature on the MacBook Pros for about a year and a half now. ; ) It's also great for scrolling.
You can also scroll that way up and down a page. hold one finger still and move the other finger up and down.
I get your point Mike. ;) Maybe I should say *newer* Macs. But nonetheless, not everyone seems to know about it. A coupla old time MBP users also tried to convince me it was only a feature of the Pro and not my regular (beloved, black) MacBook.
It's a great feature. I never thought I'd prefer to use the trackpad to the total exclusion of a mouse, but I think this feature alone has brought that about. So... when did you say that update to Lightroom was being released? :D
