Negativity on the Mac

Whoa. I typed Command-Option-Control-8 and my Mac's screen inverted.

command-option-ctrl-8 invert

The inverted image didn't persist in the screenshot I took, so I had to invert it manually to produce this image, but this could be a timesaver.

What wacky key commands have you discovered?

@Chris: Thanks. I'd seen people use the zooming feature in demos and been meaning to look up the key commands. Another goodie from the Universal Access pane: Command-Option-Control-comma and Command-Option-Control-period change the display contrast.

Command-option-equals and command-option-minus (when enabled in Universal Access) for zooming in and out. When giving a technical presentation, this is a wildly useful trick for zooming in on code and making it readable.

@Ben:

Thanks for the Universal Access tip. I noticed a grayscale command there too, which could be useful for simulating the effect of color choices on color-blind viewers.

Open System Preferences and take a look at the Universal Access pane. That's where these controls are.
