First Stab at Zune/Mac Connectivity

I think paranoia is the reason it is locked. All your data stays on the home computer (with the exception of the free pre-loaded files--but I shall rant about that another day) so it's not a matter of not having access to the data. Anyone can just e-mail that data to a friend. No, I think it's about the whole 3day/3play sharing thing, keeping those files out of view. I'm still waiting to get access to a 2nd Zune, so I can't tell you at this time whether the 3d/3p files are encrypted or not.

Erica, do you think the benefits of making the Zune mass-storage-compliant would outweigh the security benefits of keeping it locked up? (I assume security is the reason it’s locked....)
