Good Java apps for the Motorola Razr?

The other day, I happened across brian d foy's post about the need for a better address book for the Motorola Razr. I agree. It also needs a better web browser, and I am hopeful that either Cingular, my carrier, will offer the new Opera mobile or that I'll be able to buy a decent browser capable of HTML, rather than just WAP viewing. I mean, my PSP can browse the web. Why can't my cell phone?

In any case, I started searching for little mobile Java apps built for mobile phones that would run on the Razr. I'd like a better email client than the built in system which seems to only check one email account at a time. There's a little Java email client that is available for free from Cingular, but it only supports Yahoo! mail. I could always set up a generic Yahoo! mail address and pop-in all my other email accounts through that, but...ugh. I need something that can handle a good 4 accounts.

A better web-browser and address book would be nice too. So, I did a basic Google search for "Razr applications" and found a whole slew of sites and programs. The only problem is that nearly every program that fit the bill for what I wanted is no longer supported by the original developer (and a pay service so it just doesn't work anymore).

So, as I am new to this whole scene, I was wondering if anyone out there could point me in the direction of some good Java mobile phone apps. Please share in the comments.

What apps have you found for your Razr and where'd you find them?

Nokia has a free conversion editor for converting .avi to .3gp and there is the webiste motomodders.com I think that provides a slew of tools, some are quite hardcore and I do advise caution.

Anyway Ive been looking for a text/ebook reader and kjv bible software thats free for the RAZR V3 Motorola as Im not too keen on Java Games... and the V3 keys are awkward for playing games anyhow.

Thanks

Google Maps for your phone -> http://www.google.com/gmm/index.html

Opera Mini web browser for phone ->
http://mini.opera.com/

If you don't have an unlimited data plan, forget these two apps as you will kill yourself with your bill.

Once you get a decent browser on your phone, try going to www.shamis.org/mobile for some mobile-friendly news and weather links.

I also own a Motorola Razr, and while the carriers seem great at pushing colorful rehashes of 8 bit nentendo games from the early 90s for $6, they have almost no applications.

Whats worse is even if I want to write my own applications, last time I checked only Windows was supported for the java wireless toolkits (wait, I thought this was a platform independant language), so that rules out those of us on OS X.
