Quality of Life and a music question...

Many moons ago, there was a great software company called Intelligent Music who made a great piece if software called "M". which was later distributed by Voyetra. Do you know it? Do you have any industry pull to get the code open-sourced? I actually have a copy of the source, however I can't (won't) do anything with it, because while the author gave me a copy, he didn't have the authority to open up the license. It was GREAT. I MISS IT.

As far as getting it open-sourced in order to use the program again, I submit that buying a Mac and using the updated, supported version would be less trouble.
Since you loved "M," I bet that you'll find some other wonderful, weird music programs that are very much to your taste on the Cycling74 website. Try using the PC version of the incredibly brilliant audio-tool-building-tool MAX to hook up your own audio weirdness and leave the oldness of "M" behind.
Also, if you are such the Protoss (see Starcraft) that you have sworn on George Bush's grave that you will never buy a MAC, then using MAX on PC lets you save face.
AND Thank you. You have inspired me to write the world's best (OK, "newest") engineer joke:
Q: Why did the engineer stick his head into the microwave and turn it on?
A: Because he figured out a way to do it.
:)
Smilies make everything all right on the Internet.
