What do you do when your primary creative tool stops working? It's an increasingly common problem as our tools become digital. I've lost great programs from companies that tanked, but when a program from a company that's still in business refuses to launch, it really chaps my hide.

Last night, Joss Whedon of Firefly and Buffy the Vampire fame began releasing Dr. Horrible. Independently produced on a budget in the low 6 figures, with a recognizable cast that includes Neil "Doogie" Patrick Harris and Firefly's Nathan Fillion, this show has the feel of a tipping point.
