Plans for 2009...
Here are my top ten resolutions for 2009...
1. Organize and consolidate my Aperture Libraries. My archive is a bit scattered. So with my recent purchase of big hard drives with lots of space, I plan on organizing and moving things around so I can start off the new year with a plan for future organization.
2. I will work to trim and delete duplicate images that are on my drives and in my libraries from the pre-aperture “save as” days of old.
3. I will start to keyword...
4. I will finally have a comprehensive off-site back up that I know I need to have, but have been too busy and unorganized to make happen.
5. I will schedule shooting time to make sure I get out there and shoot more. I’m not sure I’m the “photo a day” kind of guy, but it is a good idea, and with the new year about to start, now is a great time. When out there, will push myself to take more chances, try new approaches and get out of my comfort zone.
6. I will print more and hang some photography that inspires me on my wall as well as sell more of my work as art prints.
7. I will finally update and renew my website like I promised myself.
8. I will go to more exhibitions and read more of the amazing photo books in my library.
9. I will go through all my equipment, make a list of stuff I don’t use to sell on Craigslist or ebay. I will compile a dream list of items I think would enhance and rejuvenate my work, and work harder to acquire them.
10. Map out my year and work hard on improving my time management skills so I can make the first nine happen and come up with a whole new set for next year.
Feel free to post your own plans for the new year here. Happy Holidays Everyone.

Excellent list. Very similar to my own, but come to think of it very similar to last year's list too.
I have about the same list, they take a lot of time to be done...
Just for the point at 10. I have found in summer 2008 a cool method to organize my stuff and get things done:
Getting Thinks Done by David Allen.
Together with OmniFocus for Mac and iPhone (as tool to set up the method)
Have a look at it, perhaps it can help you too.
Happy New Year!
Deborah
Deborah, thanks, I checked out the book and ordered it. I hope it works for me!
