World peace, goodwill to all men... oh wait, this is the season of instant gratification... ;-)
A Canon 5D2.
A next-generation MacBook Pro with two FW ports.
A 30" Cinema Display.
A projector.
A version of Aperture with:
Non-destructive local adjustments.
That doesn't hang for several minutes when I try to quit it.
That integrates fully with Time Machine, so that you could see the previous contents of Albums etc.
That's about it, tech-wise.

Why a Canon 5D2 for Xmas?
My wish for Apertue-X-mas is a plug-in for tilting, i.e., reducing distorsion directly integrated into the core app because I think that this should be a basic functionality like rotating or mirroring whereas the latter also took some time to implement ;-) (I wonder why)

I wish they'd take the colour correction tools from color- with all the secondaries, mattes, vignettes and keys - and integrate them into Aperture. It would make an incredible photography tool.
