Politics and Photography
I'm here blogging on the last day of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, and I'm running to the Xcel Center to get ready for the final night when John McCain makes his historic speech accepting the nomination as the new leader of the Republican Party.
So because of the lack of time factor I thought I'd post a few of the shots I had taken and processed through Aperture. There is some color and some black and white, the latter converted with the Monochrome Mixer and usually the green filter, although I do find that yellow or orange best yields skin tones when the subject is African American. Back to "normal" next week.
So here they are in no particular order.

Steve,
Question from a user who bit the photography bug hard. Do you determine the color temp of 5000K by experience and that it looks right? Or by another way. Thanks in advance!
Steve,
Use the free Adobe DNG Converter to "DNG" your .NEFs and bring them into Aperture. An extra step, but it'll let you keep playing, uh, I mean "working" with both camera and app.
Love the shots, Steve!
