Adventure Update
I'm holed up in hotel in Amsterdam, madly trying to finish the book based on the Lightroom Tasmania Adventure. Working with the images from Tasmania has been absolutely awesome. Great stuff. And Lightroom? Well, it's awesome too. (I'm also on a wild 8/day, 8/city tour, talking about the adventure and LR 2 beta. I'm working with some great people, including Adobe's Ton Frederiks--who posted this video made in Photoshop CS 3--and Dutch photorapher Arjan van Bruggen who is a superb studio photographer and really fun to work with, and the people at Blue Projects who organized the tour.)
Anyway, ripples from the Tasmania adventure keep spreading.
Philip Andrews was interviewed about the adventure and his work on Inside Digital Photo. It's a nice interview, and Philip is a good talker, even though he has a funny accent.
Jackie King's photos from Tasmania were exhibited at the Menier Gallery in London in June. Jackie was also profiled in Digital Railroad's Marketplace.
Ian Wallace's awesome underwater shots from Tasmania, and more, were also featured in Digital Railroad's Marketplace.
Catherine Hall has also been featured in Digital Railroad's Marketplace. Wonderful photos Catherine!
Lots more going on! As soon as I finish the book I'll be better about keeping everyone up to date.
