Charlie Cramer Photo

I'm posting this for Charlie:

I've spend several days now at Mt. Field National Park. The trail to Russell Falls is an attraction in itself, lined with tree ferns, which are found only in Australia. These are like short trees...with ferns coming out of the top! The photo here is a closeup of some of the mostly dead fronds below the top of a tree fern.

There's an even stranger plant, found only in Tasmania they call 'pandani', that is like a tree fern, only with what looks like a succulent stuck on the top. Tasmania has some truly wild, wacky, and wonderful flora.

Yum!

The image certainly looks like a Cramer, but the voice that read the blog post sounds suspiciously like a computer.

"lined with tree ferns, which are found only in Australia"

These Tree ferns can also be found in New Zealand which IS NOT part of Australia.

And now that Charlie is there, they have some truly wild, wacky, and wonderful fauna too.
